Preparing for the Self-defense Maneuvers of Vietnam Airlines Corporation 2019 taking place in Hanoi in next October, the Military Steering Committee (MSC) of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat cooperated with the Military Steering Committee of units under Vietnam Airlines Corporation in Tan Son Nhat area to hold the general training for Self-Defense Forces from September 4, 2019 to September 7, 2019.
The training course started on the morning of September 4, with the participation of Colonel Nguyen Duc Thinh - Deputy Political Chairman of Military Academy of Military Region 7, Major Pham Quoc Van - Deputy Chief of Staff, Military Executive Committee of Tan Binh District and representatives of Military Executive Committee of VIAGS TSN, TOC, VASCO, TCS, TECS, SKYPEC, Southern Jetstar Pacific Joint Stock Company, Flight Crew, Flight Training Center and Vietnam Airlines Corporation Southern Branch. Especially, the presence of 120 officers and soldiers of the above units.
During 04 school days, the soldiers received political theories, practice of gun assembly, bandaging wounds, 3 subjects of military cooperation and shooting real bullets at the Phu My Hung - Cu Chi shooting range. 30 officers and soldiers with high achievements in this training course will receive advanced training at the request of the Military Maneuver.

This is a centralized training program for the Self-Defense Forces combining education and fostering of knowledge about national defense and security in order to improve the political spirit and gradually master the use of equipped weapons and ammunition; master the group dividing tactics principle of the self-defense militia under official force associated with the operation area, creatively apply in managing situations, getting ready to fight and fight.
