Joining the exciting atmosphere of the whole country to organize various activities to celebrate Vietnamese Family Day, on the morning of June 28, 2019, at the Canteen A41, the Female Labor Board - VIAGS Tan Son Nhat Local Trade Union. The cooking contest has the theme "My house’s warm kitchen" to honor the value of the warm family meals - the foundation to connect the members, making an important contribution to the construction of the family home. Participating in the contest are the Leadership Board of VIAGS and VIAGS TSN, together with 03 judges, Ms. Le Thai Thuy Binh - Head of VIAGS Control Board, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Nga - Deputy Head of VIAGS Female Labor Board, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Huong - Vice Chairman of VIAGS TSN Local Trade Union and especially the presence of 11 pairs of competitions representing the Centers / Offices in the unit.
According to the rules of the contest, each team consisted of 02 members (male cook, female vice-cook) then cooked a family meal with a maximum cost of VND 300,000 and braised fish was required for each dish.
After 120 minutes of urgency and excitement to complete the contest, under the skillful and meticulous hands, the traditional family tray of the teams were presented nicely and beautifully with good quality food which ensured proper nutrition for health.
In addition to the performance of the dishes, the teams also had a presentation about the dishes that were very convincing. Each team had their own way to convey creative and attractive ideas, contributing to making the dishes more meaningful.
At the end of the contest, the organization committee awarded prizes to the teams:
- 1 First Prize: Baggage Services Section
- 2 Second prizes: Team 2 – Airlines Passenger Service Center, International Passenger Service Section.
- 3 Third prizes: Team 1 - Airlines Passenger Service Center, Equipment Repair and Maintenance Center, Offices Section.
- 5 Consolation prizes: Transfer Passengers Service Section, Cabin Cleaning Services Section, Apron Service Section, Domestic Passenger Service Section, Operation Center Section.
Vietnamese Family Day (June 28) is a meaningful event for all families in all parts of the country, a cultural beauty - where love and sharing are honored. The Vietnamese Family Cooking Contest is an opportunity for staff members to meet, exchange and share experiences about caring for their home.
