In the series of activity with the purpose of celebrating the 88th founding anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (26/03/1931 - 26/03/2019) and welcoming the Youth month, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s Youth Union attends the 2019 VAECO open men’s football league. The league is joined by 08 professional football teams, competing from March 10 to March 15, 2019 in Border Gate Police Stadium, including:
Group A: VIAGS Tan Son Nhat team, Furniture team, Equipment team, Basic Maintenance team
Group B: Vietjet team, TECS team, Ramp Maintenance team, SKYPEC team
After the intense qualification round, 04 excellent teams that successfully advance to the semifinal round are:
Group A: Rank 1st – Basic Maintenance team, and Rank 2nd: VIAGS Tan Son Nhat
Group B: Rank 1st – Vietjet team, and Rank 2nd – Ramp Maintenance team
Therefore, the semifinal matches occur correspondingly between:
Vietjet team (1st Group B) – VIAGS Tan Son Nhat (2nd Group A)
Basic Maintenance team (1st Group A) – Ramp Maintenance team (2nd Group B)
In the semifinal match, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat team persuasively and clearly wins over Vietjet team which is the leading team of Group B, with a very impressive score 7-3. VIAGS Tan Son Nhat continues to advance to the final round, competing with VAECO Ramp Maintenance team for the champion cup.
On 15th March 2019, with the overwhelming cheers and supports from Board of Directors, officers – personnel and devotees, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat officially moves into the suffocating and irresistible final match, competing for the champion cup against VAECO Ramp Maintenance team in Border Gate Police Stadium.
