In recent days, 02 VIAGS Tan Son Nhat staff have found and returned to passengers the asset left on the plane worth nearly 200 million dong.
Specifically, on February 18, 2020, while on duty for cleaning after the VN233 flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, staff Tran Ngoc Ky – Cabin Clean Service Team - Cabin Clean Services Center – has found a passenger's wallet including VND 120,998,000 in cash along with personal papers, valuable belongings. After had found the forgotten asset of the passenger, Mr. Ky quickly informed the lost baggage agency of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat and proceeded to return the asset to the passenger.
Continuing on February 20, 2020, also in the process of doing the task on cabin, Duong Khanh Tung - the team leader of Cabin Clean Service Team - Cabin Clean Services Center - found and returned 01 forgotten wallet of passenger on VN217 flight from Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City, including USD 200, EURO 500, VND 43,100,000 with a total value equivalent to VND 60,297,292 and many other valuable personal papers.
It is known that this is not the first time these two staff have found and returned the dropped or forgotten money and asset to passengers. Mr. Duong Khanh Tung with an impressive figure of 81 times and Mr. Tran Ngoc Ky with 88 times of finding and handing over forgotten asset to passengers in 2019 are very typical examples of Good People Good Deed to the whole staff to learn and promote.
On February 27, 2020, the example of good people with good deeds, honesty and sense of discipline of Mr. Tung and Mr. Ky were recognized, and at the same time, commended and awarded the commendation letter and reward for this noble work by Deputy General Director of VIAGS/Director of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat - Mr. Bui Duc Thanh.
