In order to celebrate the 89th anniversary of establishing Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 - March 26, 2020), VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s Grassroots Union has organized many impressive activities in flight services and prevention work of Covid-19 Disease.
1/ VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s Youth Union accompanied professional production activity at unit:
Youth Union of Union branch of Ramp Services Division deployed manpower, building an emulation plan with the theme: "Good car preservation, safe driving"
Thereby demonstrating the role, good awareness and comprehension in the work of maintenance, operation of equipment and complying with regulations to ensure safety in flight services.
The Youth Union of Unions branch of Passenger Services Division launched programs of IMPROVING SERVICE QUALITY to ensure thoughtful and respectful service for passengers - ALERTS WITH THE USE OF FAKE TRAVEL DOCUMENTS due to subjects taking advantage of the carelessness of staff during the time of Covid-19 epidemic. All union branches are always raising the awareness of Ensuring SAFE SECURITY for flights.
2/ Grassroots Union of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat held a meeting to deploy action programs to prevent and fight against drugs/ social vices – prevent and fight against Covid-19:
On March 6, 2020, at the Meeting Room 1 on 4th floor - VIAGS Operating House, the Executive Committee of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’ Grassroots Union held a meeting to deploy the Action Programs of the VIAGS Youth Union to launch the youth work to prevent social vices.
Attending the meeting, there were Mr. Le Nhu Ngoc - Secretary of VIAGS Youth Union, Secretary Comrades of the Party Cells and Union Branches belonging to VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s Grassroots Union.

3/ Propaganda to prevent and fight against COVID-19:
In the context of complicated development of COVID-19 epidemic, the Grassroots Union has deployed to the branches to strictly implement measures to prevent and fight against diseases, and at the same time performed music clips to encourage the morale of each Youth Union member, improve health, confidence, and determine to repel COVID-19.
Youth Union members implemented protective measures to avoid COVID-19 infection before, during and after work.
4/ Month of the Youth - a month of youth engrossed in labor. In order to contribute positively to the Party and State's propaganda activities, especially during the COVID-19 epidemic season, helping employees better understand and have a proper awareness of the dangers and the degree of spread of disease, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s Grassroots Union has deployed manpower to general clean and disinfect the entire room of Teams and check-in counters area, ramp, office division. Thereby, each individual will be more aware and take preventive and protective measures for themselves, their families and the community.

With the slogan "Youth of VIETNAM AIRLINES join hands - unanimously", the VIAGS Tan Son Nhat’s Grassroots Union has gradually overcome difficulties, overcome the Covid-19 epidemic crisis, asserted itself, matured and made efforts to accompany VIAGS company in particular and VIETNAM AIRLINES in general.
Promoting the achieved results in 2019, the Grassroots Union leaded the movement of Union and Youth throughout the VIAGS, continuing their efforts in 2020, has contributed to affirming the right and close guidance of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of VIAGS Tan Son Nhat, the enthusiastic support of the Staff, Union Members and Youth over the past time.
