Implementing the action program for the Month of Workers, on May 13 & 15, 2020, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat Grassroots Union applied Zoom software to organize 2 training classes on “Trade Union professional work” for more than 120 Trade Union officers at the team level and above.
At the training classes, participants was guided and exchanged by Commissioners of the Executive Committee of the Grassroots Union and the officers of Professional Affairs Department about contents as: overview of Vietnam Trade Union organization; overview of organization of Trade Union at all levels in Vietnam Airlines JSC; regulations on managing and financial expenses in trade union; work of inspection committee; policies and regimes for employees.

Speaking at the training class, Mr. Nguyen Vinh Hung - Deputy Director/ Chairman of the VIAGS Tan Son Nhat Grassroots Union emphasized that the training classes will provide an overview of the Trade Union’s work as well as the main regimes and policies for employees which are applying by the company to support Trade Union officers improve professional work in Trade Union work. He also asked the Trade Union officers to focus on learning so that after the training class, each officer could immediately understand and apply the knowledge to practical activities to continue with Executive Committee of Grassroots Union, Executive Committee of Trade Union Branch perform well the functions and tasks of Trade Union, aiming to ensure the rights, take best care of employees, educate and encourage employees to actively participate in activities of the unit, ensuring safe, quality and effective flight service.
Earlier on May 7, 2020, responding to the Action Month on labor safety and hygine in 2020, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat Grassroots Union held a training class on Labor Safety and Hygiene for Network of Safety and Hygiene staff via Zoom software. Class with the enthusiastic participation of 38 Safety and Hygiene staff and employees of units under VIAGS Tan Son Nhat with the guidance of Mr. Doan Khanh Trong, lecturer from
Center of Industrial Safety Registration Zone II.
The main contents such as introduction of organizational structure and implementation of labor safety and hygiene; tasks and powers of the safety and hygiene network, professional works and skills, operation methods of safety and hygiene staff have been clarified by the method of lively lecture. Many specific situations close to the actual production are raised through visual images.

Ensuring labor safety and hygiene, preventing incidents related to unsafety to people and equipment are the top important goals, contributing to the completion of the company's production and business plan. Through the training class, members of the safety and hygiene network have better knew the general knowledge, professional work, operational skills, contributing to the good performance of labor safety and hygiene at the unit, branch, and Company.
