On July 5, 2024, and July 6, 2024, Vietnam Airport Ground Services Company Limited (VIAGS) was honored to welcome Spring Airlines (9C) to launch a new flight from Guangzhou and Shanghai to Ho Chi Minh City.
Spring Airlines (9C), headquartered in Shanghai, was established in 2004 and launched its first flight in 2005. Spring Airlines has 125 aircraft, operating to 170 domestic destinations and more than 40 international destinations. In 2023, Spring Airlines was awarded "TOP safety awards" by the Civil Aviation Administration of China.
The fact that Spring Airlines operates flights to Ho Chi Minh City shows that the aviation industry in general and the Chinese aviation market in particular has recovered and developed strongly.
