VIAGS TAN SON NHAT STRENGHTHENED SERVICE WORK FOR CARGO FLIGHTS

In the context of fierce competition and limited terminal and airport facilities like Tan Son Nhat airport, maintaining and promoting Ground Handling's competitive strength is a necessary and urgent work, improving quality to compete and aim to provide the best service to existing customers and find potential customers.

Recently, in the context of the aviation industry is being heavily affected by the Covid-19 epidemic, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat once again shows the above orientation when the Board of Directors directly command the Apron Division to concentrate on service of extra cargo flights (extra/ charter cargo flights) of the Airlines.

China Southern Airlines is the airline that initiated this temporary solution, shifting the direction of increasing cargo operations to offset the decline in passenger output. From the night of March 8, 2020 to the dawn of March 9, 2020, VIAGS Tan Son Nhat is pleased to welcome China Southern Airlines' first extra cargo flight with a new generation of B777 Freighter aircraft. The takeoff weight is up to 352 tons.

China Southern Airlines is one of the three largest airlines in China, flying more than 2000 flights daily to more than 200 destinations around the world. The extra flight operates the route from Pudong International Airport - Shanghai to Tan Son Nhat International Airport - Ho Chi Minh and vice versa, PVG-SGN-PVG, bearing number CZ5222/CZ5221. The total number of flights that CZ Airline is operating at SGN is 6 pairs of cargo flights per week with two super-heavy B747F aircraft (commercial tonnage of 114 tons) and B777F aircraft (commercial tonnage of 120 tons).

Following CZ Airline, other airlines such as Air China (CA) - 6 flights/week, Korean Air Cargo (KE) - 14 flights/week, Eitihad Airways Cargo (EY) - 4 flights/week, China Airlines Cargo (CI) - 8 flights/week also in turn increase cargo flights in Vietnam; and it is expected that in the near future, Eva Air Cargo (BR) will return to the playground.

VIAGS Tan Son Nhat is committed to providing sufficient human resources with professional skills and equipment needs, ensuring the ability to operate well for all types of cargo aircraft in the world (B747 - 800F, B747- 400F, B777F, MD11F, B767F, A330F, A300F, B737F, B757F). VIAGS Tan Son Nhat prides itself on the service capability and quality of services provided, creating trust for airline customers, and being highly appreciated in providing ground services for cargo flights. Ensuring security, safety and service quality for Freighter flights in the current period is to ensure a part of the employees' income as well as to offset the declining revenue for VIAGS.
