On the morning of December 19, 2024, at Gia Lam Airport in Hanoi, the Vietnam International Defence Expo 2024 officially opened with spectacular performances, attracting the participation of over 2,000 officers and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army, alongside more than 200 units and enterprises from both domestic and international sectors, representing over 30 countries across ASEAN, Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
Speaking at the Opening Ceremony, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh emphasized that the Vietnam International Defence Expo 2024 holds special significance as an outstanding international event embodying the spirit of "Peace - Cooperation - Development". It contributes to promoting foreign relations and defence cooperation across all fields, fostering peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the region and the world.
