SKYTEAM Appoints PATRICK ROUX AS NEW CEO

On October 3, the global airline alliance - SkyTeam appointed Patrick Roux as the new CEO, effective October 1, 2022.

An industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, Patrick joined SkyTeam from Air France-KLM, spending 15 years in senior positions across key areas such as strategy formulation and operations. leadership, most recently Vice-President of the Alliance. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing the strategic cooperation activities of Air France-KLM, including commercial services in different markets through more than 80 joint ventures and joint venture agreements.

During her tenure, Kristin has led strategic transformation, driving SkyTeam to develop industry-leading technology, and enabling a seamless experience for more than 600 million customers across the airlines in the alliance. bright. She has also helped SkyTeam through the pandemic including the introduction of SkyCare Protect, a series of safety measures to protect passenger health. Most recently, Kristin leveraged the value of the alliance platform to focus on sustainability, launching the first SkyTeam Sustainable Flight Challenge. Her term is coming to an end, and SkyTeam will welcome Virgin Atlantic as its new Airline after eight years.
