Restore one more flight route between Vietnam and China

On July 14, the return flight route between Ho Chi Minh City and Hangzhou (capital of Zhejiang province, China) was restored after more than 2 years of suspension due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The VNA branch in China said that due to the effective control of the epidemic situation and to meet the travel demand between the two sides, the two-way flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Hangzhou is operated by the airline. was restored on July 14, with a frequency of 1 round trip every Thursday.

Specifically, flight number VN9500 departs from Ho Chi Minh City at 11:15, arrives in Hangzhou at 16:00; Flight VN9501 departed from Hangzhou at 17:00 and arrived in Ho Chi Minh City at 19:50 on the same day (local time).

Previously, in February 2020, the return flight between Ho Chi Minh City and Hangzhou had to stop operating due to the Covid-19 situation as well as the epidemic prevention requirements of the authorities.

The airline's announcement also said that, before departing, passengers need to learn about the airport's epidemic prevention regulations, such as a certificate of negative test for Covid-19... Particularly for passengers departing from Ho Chi Minh City. From Ho Chi Minh City to Hangzhou, they must be isolated at a hotel for 4 days and 4 nights at the request of China's epidemic prevention, and pay for their own expenses for food, accommodation and testing.
